Blue Canvas Suspenders

Blue has dressed American workers for generations, from chore coats to work shirts. This rich, true blue is a natural companion to broken-in denim, work khakis, leather boots, and one of our 100% cotton vintage heavyweight Henleys. Paired with warm, full-grain American bison leather and antique brass hardware, these canvas suspenders bring classic workwear color to a modern wardrobe.

Each pair is handmade to order deep in the heart of Texas. Our heavyweight cotton duck canvas starts firm and gradually softens with wear while retaining its structure. The American bison leather, tanned in the USA, develops its own patina, with natural grain and tonal variation that make every pair unique.

Every set includes traditional bison leather button-on attachments, brass swivel belt-loop hooks, and both sew-on and no-sew denim buttons, giving you two ways to wear your suspenders.

Materials & Craftsmanship

  • Canvas: 1.5-inch heavyweight cotton duck canvas in Blue, with brighter blue tonal topstitching.

  • Construction: Three layers of canvas formed from a single length, with heavy-duty topstitching securing the internal layers for added structure.

  • Leather: Full-grain American bison leather, tanned in the USA.

  • Leather Colors: Whiskey Brown or Tobacco Brown.

  • Hardware: Antique brass adjusters and brass swivel belt-loop hooks.

  • Back: Traditional Y-back with a woven cotton back strap and an embossed American bison leather back patch.

  • Craftsmanship: Handmade to order in Texas by the husband-and-wife makers behind Stratton Suspender Co.

Everything Included

Every pair arrives with:

  • Traditional American bison leather button-on attachments.

  • Antique brass swivel belt-loop hooks.

  • Traditional sew-on suspender buttons.

  • No-sew denim suspender buttons.

Switch between attachment styles using the button studs. The leather button-on ends fasten to suspender buttons, while the brass swivel hooks attach directly to belt loops without alterations.

Sizing & Custom Fit

Our standard adjustable length fits most men from 5'3" to 6'0". Outside that range, or have a longer torso or broader build? Custom sizing is always complimentary.

Simply contact us, and we’ll walk you through one quick measurement, from your front waistband over the shoulder to your back waistband, so we can make your suspenders for a fit that feels like they were made just for you.
