How do I attach buttons to my trousers for button-on suspenders?

Each pair of trousers requires six interior buttons (four in front, two in back).

  • Front: Sew two buttons on each side, about 2.5–3 inches apart, positioned just above the pleats or darts and slightly toward the side seams.
  • Back: Place two buttons 2.5–3 inches apart, straddling the center seam.
